2007 Conducted provincial community consultations on role of the Independent Police Review Director (IPRD) put forward by Bill 103 and submitted a Consultation Report to the Attorney General of Ontario
   
2008 Hosted the Bill 103 Summit in Toronto from September 24-26, 2008 for people from across Ontario to come together to share dialogue on Ontario’s new police complaints system. Submitted the Bill 103 Summit Report to the Independent Police Review Director and the Attorney General of Ontario
   
2009 Participated in consultations held by the Office of the Independent Police Review Director and prepared submission
  Hosted three pillar Roundtable with the Office of the Independent Police Review Director
  Report to the Attorney General of Ontario and to the Independent Police Review Director of Ontario on the further development of Ontario’s police complaints system and its Proposed Rules of Procedure (posted May 29, 2009) submitted

Mental Health

Ontario’s Psychiatric Patient Advocate Office – The largest provincial mental health advocacy program in Canada operates as an arm’s length program of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to protect the legal and civil rights of inpatients in provincial psychiatric hospitals, general hospitals and individuals in the community who are being considered for community treatment. Provide a full range of independent advocacy and rights advice services.
