Facility Rental at Scadding Court

SCCC offers meeting rooms and a gymnasium for rent on a  'first come, first served basis'.

Rental fee quoted at the current ‘Community Rate’  plus HST.
“Community rate” is for local Toronto residents who are not renting space for purposes of generating profit.

All space bookings are subject to the availability in current program session.  Internal programming and emerging needs take priority over rentals. Bookings only secured upon payment of rental fees & security deposit and on signing of rental contract. 

Photo ID such as current driver’s license is required to book space.  Payments must be in cash, money order or by certified cheque.

MEETING ROOM(S) 

Community rate: $20/hr + HST. Maximum occupancy: 30-50 persons (variable per room). Tables and chairs provided.

GYM

Recreational Sport Rentals:  (current timeslots available - Thursday or Friday’s 1 - 4pm)

Community rate: $60/hr + HST. Maximum occupancy: 60 persons

  • GYM  50’ x 80’ with a high ceiling                                    
  • In 2004 GYM installed with a Robins maple, bio-channel, anchored resilient floor.
  • Ball bounce is consistent as a result of the anchoring system.
  • Shock absorption of floor is high due to the shock pads built into the sub-structure of floor system.
  • Equipment not provided and only plastic blades for floor/ball hockey permitted.

SATURDAY SOCIAL FUNCTION - EVENTS: 6pm–1am   

GYM Community rental rate: $700 + HST. Maximum occupancy: 300 persons. Tables and chairs provided.

  • Security deposit: $250.00 required to reserve date (refundable, conditional on contract compliance).

ROOM 1/2 Community rental rate: $300 + HST. Maximum occupancy: 100 persons. Tables and chairs provided.

  • Security deposit: $150.00 required to reserve date (refundable, conditional on contract compliance).

NEW YEARS’ EVE Social Event Rentals: 6pm-2am  

· Gym = $ 900.00 + HST. Maximum occupancy: 300 persons.  [2012: BOOKED]
  Security deposit of $400.00 required to reserve date (refundable & conditional upon contract compliance). 

· Rooms 1+ 2 = $450 + HST. Maximum occupancy: 100 [STILL AVAILALBE]
  Security deposit of $250.00 required to reserve date (refundable & conditional upon contract compliance).
