Help establish a Farmers’ Market at the SCCC Live Local Marketplace!

Another harvest season has recently ended but Scadding Court Community Centre is looking to next season with plans for a farmers’ market as part of the Live Local Marketplace.  While the densely populated downtown neighbourhoods of Alexandra Park, Chinatown and Kensington Market are home to a number of food vendors, access to locally-source produce could be improved.

If you support local agriculture and would like to shop in an environment where you can learn more about your food, please sign our online petition: www.thepetitionsite.com/1/SCCCfarmersmarket

Should you want to learn more about this project, please contact Jacqueline Hall at: marketplace@scaddingcourt.org

Spice up your lunch break! Check out the Live Local Marketplace, bursting with delicious food and fresh ideas. Try one of the international dishes, browse through fun merchandise and enjoy this marketplace that comes from the community, for the community.
